~ B33p/Alex is a multi-disciplinary artist and tattooer born & raised in Toronto, currently based in the city of Montreal. They are interested in exploring the political nature of the human sensory experience and how we continue to evolve our collective experience in pursuit of decolonization. They believe using multiple mediums to explore these subjects creates visual & sensory languages that can connect with people. They favour connection on more personal levels to discuss how political systems materially influence us through art. 

They create to investigate & explore the hidden nature and connection of things. They explore how we piece together these connections,
connecting their art practice to their tattooing practice, to fully understand our human autonomy. They use their work as an expression of activism to question & challenge our belief systems around politics, race, queerness, class & gender.
